An invitation

Caroline Lucas to speak at Redhill event

Caroline Lucas at Westminster

Caroline Lucas, Britain's first Green MP: “I think the Green Party in Redhill has a very bright future so I look forward to meeting all those who want to help build on our successes to date and be part of that future.”

We’re delighted that Green Party leader Caroline Lucas accepted our invitation to speak at a Fundraising Dinner for Reigate and Banstead Green Party next month.

Caroline is a passionate campaigner on the environment, social justice and human rights. She was elected MP for Brighton Pavilion in 2010, having served as an MEP representing the South East of England for eleven years.

She has won a host of awards, including ‘MP of the Year’ in the Women in Public Life Awards 2011 and ‘Best All Rounder’ in the 2011 Total Politics End of Year MP Awards.

Caroline is a lively and interesting speaker and we know that local supporters will enjoy meeting and hearing from her.

All supporters are warmly invited to the dinner, which will take place at Mela Indian restaurant, 1 Linkfield Street, Redhill, Surrey RH1 1 HQ on Thursday 16 February 2012 at 7.30 pm.

The ticket price is £20 per person for a delicious three course Indian meal (drinks not included).  All proceeds will go to Reigate and Banstead Green Party.
