We are disappointed to have lost a Council seat in last week’s election. There are now two Green Councillors in Redhill East, joined by Conservative Richard Coad.
We congratulate Richard on his victory and hope to develop a good working relationship with him to give the best service to our residents.
Our candidate, Stephen McKenna, campaigned hard, speaking to hundreds of residents across the ward in the months before the election.

Goodbye to Sarah
Sarah Finch is no longer a Councillor. After four years of service, Sarah decided to stand down.
She says, “It has been a huge privilege to serve as a Councillor, I’ve met some lovely people and was pleased to have the opportunity to help residents with their problems and raise their issues with the Council.
“I’d like to thank everyone who has sent me kind messages after my decision not to run for a second term.
“I would dearly have liked to pass my Ward Councillor baton to Stephen. He was a wonderful candidate and I know he will make a great Councillor one day.”
