What does the council spend our money on?

MoneyIf that is a question you sometimes find yourself asking, you will soon have a chance to find out.

Every year, Reigate & Banstead Borough Council opens its accounts for public inspection. This year the inspection period runs from this Friday (9 August) to Friday 6 September. The accounts can be viewed at Reigate Town Hall – contact the Council’s Finance Manager to arrange a viewing. This page gives more details.

Your Redhill Green Councillors will be taking a look on your behalf, and we would strongly recommend that any interested residents arrange a viewing too.

Lovely idea to have a new seating area outside by rear entrance to Belfry Shopping Centre. Last year was lovely lavender plants in the planters, but unfortunately they are
being neglected. All it needs is watering and weeding, lavender survives in dry conditions,
    but the plants are parched.
Also can more ashtrays be provided to stop cigarette butts collecting all around this seating area. It’s a great place for workers & shoppers to have 5 minute break. Let’s look after it!
