Redhill traffic plans: have your say

Redhill mapWe would probably all agree that Redhill traffic can be a nightmare. Particularly at peak times.

The council is looking at ways to improve this, and would like to hear your views on their current proposals.

These proposals include conversion of the town centre one-way system to two-way, and changes to a number of important junctions and roundabouts.

The consultation period runs from Friday 9 November 2012 to Friday 4 January 2013, and you can submit your ideas online here or email them to transport.consultations@surreycc.gov.uk.

This weekend (Friday 9 and Saturday 10 November) there will be an exhibition in The Belfry shopping centre with council staff available to answer questions about the proposed changes. An unstaffed version of the exhibition will then be available to view in the Harlequin from 11 to 25 November 2012.

Information and copies of the consultation questionnaire will be available at the exhibition and from Redhill Help Shop, Redhill Library, the Harlequin Theatre and the Town Hall in Reigate.

You can find more information on the council’s website, here.
