A third Green Councillor has been elected in Redhill East. Bryn Truscott got 48.6% of the votes, and joins Jonathan Essex and me on the Council.
We’re really pleased that we are now a group of three Greens. This will enable us to be an even stronger opposition, and to represent residents better. Bryn is an active campaigner locally and has given us a lot of support over the past year. I know he will be a great asset on the Council.
Bryn says, “I’d like to say thank you to everyone who voted for me. It was great to meet so many people in the run-up to the election, and to hear your views about how we could make things better in Redhill. I look forward to working with residents on the issues that concern you.”
The result in Redhill East was:
Rois Amiah (Conservative) 787
Robert Kulka (Liberal Democrats) 108
Bryn Truscott (Green) 1,216 – elected
Rhys Williams (Labour) 390
Congratulations to Bryn and everyone who helped with the campaign.
